Scientific Abstract Submission Guidelines
The Scientific Committee of the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India (PCSI) invites you to submit abstracts for
PCSICON 2026, to be held in Hyderabad.
This year’s theme, "Small Hearts, Big Dreams," focuses on bridging the gap between advanced innovation and compassionate care in pediatric cardiology.
Submission Categories
Abstracts are invited for the following categories:
- Clinical Studies: Original research in pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery.
- Case Reports: Rare or interesting cases with significant learning points.
- Innovations: New techniques in interventional cardiology or cardiac surgery.
- Video Presentations: Surgical or cath lab procedural videos.
General Guidelines
- Conference registration is mandatory for the presenting author.
- The presenting author must be a member of PCSI or should have applied for membership.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English and should not exceed 300 words.
- Use standard abbreviations. Do not include references or credits in the abstract body.

- Conclusions
2. Case Reports:
- Introduction
- Case Description
- Discussion
- Conclusion
Award Paper Guidelines
- Open to Postgraduates, Fellows, and Young Faculty (within 5 years of qualification).
- Full paper submission is mandatory for award consideration.
- The work should not have been published or presented at any other national conference earlier.
- Conflict of interest must be disclosed.
- Time limit: 8 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion.
E-Poster Guidelines
- Selected abstracts will be displayed as E-Posters on digital screens at the venue.
- Posters should be self-explanatory with clear text and high-resolution images.
- Specific dimensions and file format (PPT/PDF) will be shared with accepted authors.
Review Process
All submitted abstracts will undergo a blinded peer-review process by the Scientific Committee.
The decision of the committee regarding acceptance and the mode of presentation (Oral/Poster) will be final.
Important Dates
- Abstract Submission Deadline: 31st August 2026
- Notification of Acceptance: 15th September 2026
- Full Paper Submission (for Awards): 20th September 2026
Best Paper & Poster Awards
To encourage research among young minds, PCSICON 2026 announces awards for the
Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster in various sub-specialties including
Interventional Cardiology, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, and Critical Care.
Winners will be announced during the Valedictory Session on 11th October 2026.
